ClearSky NetView 360 Helps CellularOne Build Infrastructure with High Accuracy

ORLANDO, FL: ClearSky Technologies, a provider of mobile infrastructure and managed services, announces that it has signed CellularOne as its NativeView 360 customer to fill coverage gaps and increase capacity including side-by-side comparison of different deployment options for setting up infrastructure.

NetView 360 is determinant to address challenges like finding ideal location to install small cell types with accurate quantity. According to the agreement, NetView 360 will allow CellularOne to place small cells for indoor, outdoor, low-power, high-power or Wi-Fi with one meter accuracy. The platform also helps analyze traffic, business, plan high-resolution radio frequency (RF) and evaluates backhaul and real estate that enables modeling coverage, capacity and subscriber improvements.

The ClearSky product produces accurate and understandable results that can cover any carrier size, coverage area, network type or spectrum. With variety of Big Data files, the process initiates traffic modeling to develop 4m long and detailed indoor and outdoor traffic maps. Furthermore, it applies the proprietary method to create 3D building outlines implementing it to any city or town in the world virtually that generates one meter accurate RF propagation model.

“This platform takes into account everything from outdoor attachment points to in-building geometry and availability of backhaul, allowing Cellular One to identify the type, location and quantity of small cells to achieve the best outcome,” says Alberto Rubio, VP, Professional Services, ClearSky. “We expect that the results produced by NetView 360 will validate the technical and business cases for small cell deployment in Cellular One’s network.”
